Drying herbs the easy way

Maybe I should say the lazy way. This works great if your air isn’t humid at harvest time! Food dehydrators are great, too, if you don’t have a place to set out your herb bags or want it done faster.

Supplies needed: scissors and tray for collecting herbs, pencil, lunch-size brown bags

1.) Snip off the herbs you’d like to dry.

2.) Write herb name and date on outside of bag.

3.) Put herbs in bag (don’t overcrowd them–leaving some air space is important). Leave them on the stem/twig so there’s some space between the leaves.

4.) Fold over top of bag so herbs don’t get dusty.

5.) Put them in a dry place, and Bob’s your uncle.

Ta da!
